70 people showed up for the event, September 8th Day of Climate Action: Is an Electric Vehicle in YOUR Future? The initial part of the event, part of 350.org's Rise for Climate action, was a call to local officials to step up for climate as the federal government has stepped back, and several local officials spoke. The remainder of the event was dedicated to electric vehicles with a power point, a panel of eight EV owners, and culminating with an EV show outside in lovely fall weather. We had ten EVs: three Chevy Bolts, a Chevy Volt, one older Nissan Leaf and one new Leaf, two Prius Primes, a Tesla S, and a Tesla Model 3.

The NDEW event in Carlyle, IL at the Case-Halstead Public Library on Saturday September 15th from 10 AM to 1 PM, was a great success! We had 14 plug-in vehicles, including a vintage VW "beetle", several Tesla's, a Chevy Volt and Chevy Bolt EV, a Toyota Prius Prime, a Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, and a Nissan Leaf. The Library unveiled the site of its new Level 2 electric car charging station. A good time was had by 140 attendees and we are already planning for next year's event.

Over 1600 people came to learn about plug-in vehicles. Here is a photo of some of the guests viewing the 89 different all-electric or plug-in hybrid models that were on display or available for test rides and drives at our event venue in the beautiful Channel Islands Harbor area of Oxnard, California In addition to the multiple private owners and EV-knowledgeable dealers, guests could get more details from several informational booths such as information about cash rebate and incentive programs.

About 75 people attended the first of three NDEW events in San Luis Obsipo at the Mindbody headquarters. Mindbody includes "Environmental Consciousness" as one of its core values and promotes low carbon transportation by offering employees free charging at one of their 24 charging stations on site. They also offer free e-bike rentals for in-town commuters as part of their wellness program.

NDEW Electric Vehicle Show in Solvang, California. Solvang has a Danish theme to its architecture. Multiple EVs and PHEVs were on display at our venue, a municipal parking lot in the center of town near bakeries, restaurants and shops. Over 100 interested members of the public came to learn.

We had 5 different vehicles on display for ride and drives. To the left of the large tent we had 25 different owners answering questions about their vehicles. We also offered free pizza, and iced tea and coffee for visitors.

An intimate snapshot of shoppers in the Tucson Mall during TEVA Tucson's EV display for NDEW 2018. September is still a time of intense heat in the Sonoran Desert and the Mall is a huge draw for locals and students returning to the U of A with their families. The mall has 10 million unique visitors annually. Last year, in September the mall saw just under 600,000 visitors. In 8 days of display for NDEW 2018, an estimated about 60,000 visitors saw the display. Electric Vehicles Pictured: Pedego Interceptor E bike and the Chevy Volt.
