Event Report

A big thanks to all of you who made it out to the Destin Commons for our 4th Annual National Drive Electric Week EVent! It was hot but this year we had a cool selection of EV’s. Here is the tally; 89 people registered and we had, 3 Tesla Model X, 8 Tesla Model S, 8 Tesla Model 3, 1 Tesla Roadster, 3 Nissan LEAF’s, 4 BMW i3’s, 5 Zero Motorcycles, 2 Ford C-Max, 1 BMW i3 REx, 1 Fiat 500e, 1 Honda Clarity Plug-In, 1 Mitsubishi i-MiEV, 1 Smart fortwo. The i-MiEV was recognized as the 100,000 EV sold in the USA!

Another big thank you to EGO Power Plus, Coastal Powersports and Emerald Coast Science Center for donating prizes! And of course thank you to the Destin Commons for once again hosting our EVent.

This year would not have been the success that it was without our volunteers, sponsors, vendors and participants bringing out their vehicles to educate public about Electric Vehicles and how to Kick Gas!

Event Description

This year's EVent will be bigger and better than ever.  It's coming up this Saturday!  The Destin Commons has four public FREE L2 charging stations and the nearby Whole Foods has four more FREE L2 charging stations.  The entrance will be by Uncle Buck's Fishbowl and Grill - See map below

EV Registration is from 10am - 2pm at the NDEW booth and you will get a FREE raffle ticket when you register.
