Side shot of the Ambler DriveTheFutureEV.com NDEW show on the edge of the Climate Reality Booth. This was a line up of Teslas, Model Y, Model 3, Model S, Model 3. There is one conversion bike in front of the Tesla group. Not in frame was the Cybertruck and 5 Ford F150 Lightnings. Also out of frame were a Chevy Spark, Bolt euv and Rivian R1S. There were several conversion vehicles on display, including a "safe at any speed" EV Corvair and a EV VW Bug both classics. There was a full line of electric bikes, scooters and motorcycles including the Zero. There

In the middle is Celebrity Driver Calbert Cheaney (this Evansville native is currently director of player development at IU’s men’s basketball program, and is a former 13-year NBA player who remains the Big Ten's all-time men’s leading scorer and was National Player of the Year and a three-time All-American while attending IU). To the right is Katie's husband, Jose Manning. Katie and Jose are each EV owners who have participated in all 3 annual EV ride-&-drives held in Evansville. In 2023 and again this year, the Mannings also served as volunteers at the event, helping to position all the cruise-in vehicles including a friend's Hummer EV that they drove to EVs 4 EVVeryone 2024.

It was very poor attendance. 29 vehicles and 0 attendees off an on. Parking was plentiful, but very few people showed up that were new to EV's or unaffiliated with Plug-In Boise or the rest of the EV's event organizers/EV owners. We estimate this was one of the worse attended NDEW events in the past 10 years for this area. Weather was great, location could have been better, Coal Rollers were a pain. Spirits were high. National sponsors like the local Nissan Dealership were unresponsive for our requests for help. None of the dealerships provided outreach as this was the first event they had been invited too and still, most likely, do not understand the value or can not calculate an ROI.

Some of the EVs at the Energy Fair and Green Expo. The event included electric lawn equipment, multiple solar, heat pump, and weatherization exhibitors as well as Sustainability exhibits such as arts and culture, affordable housing, clean air and water, gardening, food waste, plastics and your health, community energy, gardening, climate change, and local artisans.

We also had free ice and warm cookies, courtesy of the first folks to tow a trailer round trip coast-to-coast in a Ford F-150 Lightning, Mark and June Eakin, and an extremely well-done 1998 Jaguar EV conversion shorturl.at/xM9cK.

18 EVs lined up in a row at Rocky Reach Dam in Wenatchee, Washington! The oldest EV in attendance, a 2013 Nissan Leaf with 60,000 miles on its odometer, took the place of honor in the front of the line. Thank you to Nissan for getting the EV ball rolling again!
