Event Report

The Clark County Commissioners presented a proclamation recognizing "Drive Electric Week" from September 27 to October 6, 2024, in honor of All-In Clark County and the Southern Nevada Clean Cities Coalition. :  

Here’s an overview of the estimated event participation stats:  

  • RSVPs: 264
  • Attendees: 150
  • Vehicles Displayed: 33 with 19 different makes & models
  • Test drives: 63  
  • Community vendors: 16
  • Climate action pledge13 community members pledged to go All-In on making their next vehicle electric!
  • Blog post: Mark, an EV owner from the St. George area attended his 12th NDEW in Las Vegas since 2012, read about his experience driving from Utah to attend our event!

Opening Remarks:  
Commissioner Justin Jones kicked things off with his thoughts on why going electric was a game-changer for the community and the planet.  

Ride and Drive:  
Attendees buckled up for exhilarating test drives of the latest all-electric and plug-in hybrid models, experiencing the smooth acceleration and silent power firsthand.  

Presentation & Demos:  
Participants dove into the nitty-gritty with presentations from top transportation organizations. They learned about the incredible benefits, cost savings, and everything they needed to know about charging their new rides.  

Meet & Greet:  
Guests chatted with passionate electric vehicle owners and knowledgeable dealers. They received insider tips, had their burning questions answered, and discovered what all the buzz was about.  

Slush Rush:  
Free snow cones were offered for two hours from a fully electric shaved ice truck.  

Batteries:  
Thanks to Redwood Materials, attendees brought used batteries for recycling, contributing to sustainability while enjoying the event.
