Event Report
On September 28th, the County of Ventura staff attended the 11th annual Port of Hueneme Banana Festival. The festival provided a great opportunity for staff to engage and inform individuals about our regional electrified transportation programs. Festivalgoers were encouraged to interactive with County staff through EV-related games and explore the County's fleet EVs, by either plugging in the portable charger or looking inside the vehicle itself. In return the attendees received a multitude of EV-related giveaways.On October 6th, the County of Ventura staff participated in the Ventura EV Showcase. This event was a dedicated EV Car show and event that had over 76 registered attendees that brought their own vehicle with 39 different models, and several hundred attendees interested in learning more about electrified transportation programs. Our staff was able to engage and inform individuals on our EV Blueprint and Clean Air Day Pledge.

Event Description
Ventura County Regional Energy Alliance hosting an in-person event to discuss workplace charging best practices. Additional activities include a ribbon cutting celebration for the new EV charging stations as well as EV-related informational booths.
