Event Report
The EV display event was organized by New Jersey Electric Vehicle Association (NJEVA) and marketed as DEEM although it did not fit into the DEEM campaign window. It was a part of Earth Day Fair organized by Sustainable Highland Park. The street of the event was directly attached to Raritan Ave holding town-wide street fair. This approach brings lots of attention to Green Fair and hence EV display.NJEVA has partnered with Genesco Sport Enterprises for this particular event to bring BMW i5 and BMW iX to position them at the intersection of these two street fairs. This gave lots of foot traffic to these two vehicles. The rest of the EV show was in the adjacent lot.
We had 5 vehicles on the roster (Chevy Bolt EV, Ford Mustang Mach-e, Honda Clarity PHEV, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6) but were fortunate bring in Ford F150 Lightning and Tesla Model 3 from the other Earth Day vendors and Toyota Rav4 Prime from one of the event attendees. Later, another NJEVA member joined us with their new Smart ED. Along with the sponsored BMW's, we have counted 11 EVs.
We set up table, tent and 3 NJEVA feather flags.
The biggest impediment was rain, which came in after 1 PM or about 2 hours after the event started. We stayed for another 45 minutes until the rain intensified to the point that foot traffic ceased.

Event Description
Highland Park Environmental Commission invited NJEVA to their annual Earth Day Fair on 3rd Ave North, between Raritan Ave (Rt. 27) and Denison Street. The event will coincide with town-wide street fair on Raritan Ave. We have attended since 2022 and it always a blast, tons of foot traffic.
