Event Report
The Citizens Climate Lobby, Ventura Chapter and the Ventura Climate Coalition hosted an "Electrify Your Home and Business" event which provided participants with information on methods to reduce fossil fuel use, on converting to using electricity and reducing our environmental footprint. Included in the event was an EV Showcase, presentation and information.

Event Description
The purpose of this open house is to provide a venue for residents and small business owners to meet with exhibitors to learn about options for weatherization, heating, transportation, solar panels and battery storage, while utilizing tax credits and rebates to offset prices and save money. We are engaging local and small businesses and service providers to share their knowledge, expertise, products and services with attendees from the local community.
Additionally there will be an EV Showcase with over 20 electric vehicles brought and displayed by their owners. This will give participants the opportunity to interact with EV drivers, some of which have over 12 years of gas free driving experience.
