Day: | Wednesday, October 2, 2024 |
Time: | 12:00 - 3:00 pm EDT |
Location: | Vermont State House 115 State Street Montpelier, VT 05602 |
The State of Vermont, Buildings & General Services (BGS), is hosting an event on October 2, 2024 on the State House Lawn to help employees gain comfort with electric and plug-in vehicles in support Vermont’s Zero Emission Vehicle Action Plan. We are excited to extend an invitation to the public to join us! Come and talk with EV experts and real owners to learn what it's like to own, drive, and maintain an EV.
Discover the rebates and incentives available to Vermonters, watch live demonstrations on how to use EV charging stations, and learn how the state and EVs are contributing to a cleaner environment here in Vermont.
Please note that while only state employees will be allowed to drive the state-owned vehicles, we encourage everyone to attend and learn more about this important initiative. We look forward to seeing you there!
If you want to showcase your EV, please register as a participant before the event. We would appreciate it if drivers could be present for at least part of the event to talk to attendees who are interested in EVs. Aiken Avenue will be closed on the day of this event, and only event participants will have access to the EV charging stations on Aiken Avenue.
