Event Report
• Our team participated in the EV showcase at Ecotoberfest in Louisville. We had a goodnumber of vehicles there, including an electric refuse truck - one of the all-EV fleet of
trash trucks that Republic is deploying on behalf of Louisville. The driver who brought
the truck (and also drives it on route every day) had nothing but good things to say
about his experience with the vehicle.
• EVs on site included the EV Hummer, Cadillac Lyriq, Ford Lightning, Ioniq 6, Chevrolet
Bolt, Rivian R1S, and Nissan Leaf. There were an estimated 250 event participants and
DCC interacted with at least 100 of those attendees.

Event Description
The Cities of Lafayette and Louisville and the Towns of Superior and Erie are hosting a regional sustainability event called Ecotoberfest on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 2-6pm at Louisville Community Park (955 Bella Vista Drive) in Louisville.
Ecotoberfest will feature over 50 vendors and exhibitors, a sustainable marketplace, an electric vehicle (EV) and e-bike showcase, no-cost small electronics recycling, a Halloween costume exchange, a locally-sourced pumpkin patch, a bounce house, food trucks, face painting, a beer garden hosted by the Louisville Chamber of Commerce, and live music!
We invite you to join us for this event to envision and create healthy, resilient, and sustainable communities in Boulder County! This event is free and open to the public.
The EV Showcase area is limited - there will not be space for drop-in EVs to showcase.
