We now have some details on our upcoming D$W Meet and EV
Show. Both will be held on Saturday, July 20 from 10-2 at the Greenfield Public
Library, the Meet inside and the EV Display outside.
We will have two speakers at this our 64th D$W
Meet, Jodie Donabar, Director of the acclaimed MPS Drive program, and David
Petering from the Milwaukee County Climate Action Group.
Our Tools for a Lifetime training program has been part of
the MPS Drive curriculum for almost 5 years now and has trained over 3,000
students on $mart Driving skills. This TFaL training is taught by Arcade
Driving School which teaches the entire MPS Drive program. Our partnership with
MPS was the first time that Eco-Driving training has been offered as part of a
school curriculum. Jodie will speak at 10:30.

David Petering has been involved with the MCCAG and will
share thoughts on the 2030 Goal of reducing emissions by 45% and we can discuss
how $mart Driving education can be a part of the plan. David will speak at

In addition, D$W will host another non-NDEW event outside the library at the same time as the Meet, from 10-2. EV owners will be on hand to share experiences and discuss the benefits of EVs and some will offer rides as well. This will be a great opportunity to learn about the full range of Diversified Electrified Vehicles that could replace a current gas ICE vehicle.
