Explore the benefits of owning an Electric Vehicle

Join Tacoma Power at LeMay — America’s Car Museum Saturday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for our National Drive Electric Week, EV Ride and Drive! We will have a variety of full battery-electric cars, plug-in hybrid electric cars, and electric bikes available to test drive. EV professionals will be onsite to answer your questions. Learn about the cost savings and carbon reduction benefits of driving electric, how to charge an EV, and meet others who are enthusiastic about a clean powered future. Test drives will be first-come, first-served. You must be over 18, show a valid driver’s license and car insurance to participate in a test drive. For more information, go to MyTPU.org/EVEvents.

This event will primarily focus on dealerships providing test drives to attendees, though we will have 10 spaces available for EV drivers to display their vehicles on LeMay-America’s Car Museum’s plaza. If you are interested in showing your EV on the plaza, once you register you will receive instructions to RSVP for your spot.

Participants must bring their EV “show ready,” and be comfortable with community members taking a peek.
