Event Report
Ours was put together very quickly with little time to publicize so turnout was small. But I must say the awareness of National Drive Electric Week is very low. The Tesla and Chevy dealers I visited had never heard of it. Most of the EV drivers who signed up also had never heard of it. Next year, the communication to all makers of EV's should be many months ahead of the event. And they all should promote it themselves.
Event Description
Want to learn more about electric vehicles (EV's)?
Stop by and meet EV owners who'll share personal driving experience, show you their vehicles, answer questions and give you a test drive! Plus get a close up look at and test drive a new Nissan Leaf and 2017 Chevrolet Volt
EV's are fun to drive, reduce America's dependence on foreign oil, combat climate change and cost much less to fuel and maintain than gasoline-powered cars.
Join us for this informative EV car rally in Evanston.
Thanks to our local sponsors:
The Autobarn of Evanston and Jennings Chevrolet of Glenview, for bringing new EV's to our rally!
