Event Report
Weather was great at our Stop & Shop grocery store gathering this Saturday afternoon. The store graciously provided apple cider and apple / pumpkin donut holes to celebrate the season's changing to fall. We had several plug-ins on display including a Ford Focus Electric, two Leafs, a new Model S, Ford C-Max Energi and a E-Golf. Special mention to Lindsey and his Gen 1 Prius, the first one sold in Connecticut! Several shoppers stopped by to learn about plug-ins and State Representative Mary Mushinsky joined us to discuss EVs/ PHEVs.

Event Description
Come join us at Stop & Shop in Wallingford on Saturday, September 17th, for an afternoon Electric Vehicle (EV)
Tailgate Party!
Stop & Shop has graciously let us use their parking lot near their two new EV Charging stations. And they are also hosting the event with afternoon refreshments for the tailgate party!
Have an Electric Vehicle (or Plug-in)? Bring your EV/Plug-In to the event to show it off and answer questions. The charging station will be available to recharge while you're there!
Want to learn more about owning an EV/Plug-In? Come visit and ask real owners about their experiences.
In all cases, we encourage you to register to attend to help us better plan the event (and have the right count for food on hand for you!).
Directions to Stop & Shop, Wallingford; From I-91 in Meridan, S to US-5 S/N Colony Rd in Wallingford. Take exit 66 from CT-15 S/Wilbur Cross Pkwy. Turn Left at light and continue under overpass. Stop & Shop is on the left. Follow white NDEW lawn signs to our event! Reserved parking for EV/Plug-in EV owners. Look for our green and white NDEW sign!
