The 10th annual National Drive Electric Steilacoom festival in 2023 was the best ever.  Perfect weather, a record 43 different model types present, and a record estimated 1,250 people in attendance.  This year, our 11th, will be slightly different.  Scheduled for a Sunday evening, (August 25th from 4 to 7 PM) in historic downtown Steilacoom.  As always, the event is free and the cost to run the event is zero dollars!  Special thanks to the Steilacoom Chamber of Commerce for being an official sponsor which gives us insurance coverage and great publicity.  To the Town of Steilacoom who allows us the closure and the use of the downtown area for the festival and supplies barriers and cones to mark off the area.  To the Kiwanis Club of Steilacoom who had more than a dozen volunteers helping with all facets of the event in 2023.  

The Town of Steilacoom is a small historic town with a very nice downtown area.  Perfect for a festival.  Use the address 1617 Lafayette Street as a center point for the festival.  

PS:  I started this event in 2014 and will continue to do so for a few more years.  The Lord willing!  Also, the previous town mayor was very supportive. I was honored to become mayor in 2021 and my advocacy of the transition to all things electric will continue for hopefully many more years.
