Notable people:
Burlington Mayor Miro Weinberger, a representative from the Ministry of Quebec, Department of Public Service Deputy Commissioner Darren Springer, Director of Transportation VEIC Karen Glitman, State Treasurer Beth Pearce, and state Rep. Diane Lanpher were on hand for the event.

Two new initiatives to support electric vehicles in Vermont were announced at the event:
The first initiative expands the State Infrastructure Bank (SIB) loan program administered by the Vermont Economic Development Agency (VEDA). The second initiative, developed by the Agency of Natural Resources and administered by the Agency of Commerce and Community Development, provides financial resources for electric vehicle charging stations in all of Vermont’s designated downtowns.
