Location: | 33 Kennebec Pl Bar Harbor, ME 04609 |
In celebration of National Drive Electric Week, A Climate to Thrive, along with our partners, the Bar Harbor Task Force on the Climate Emergency, the Tremont Sustainability Committee, and the Mount Desert Sustainability Committee, welcomes you to attend a free "EV Expo" in Bar Harbor, Maine on September 30th, 2023, from 11 am to 1 pm.
Local owners will display their plug-on electric vehicles of all kinds, from the Ford Lightning to the Nissan Leaf. Come see the variety firsthand, and get your real EV ownership, reliability, range, charging, and technical questions answered by the people who own and drive them. There may even be a chance to get to take a ride!
The event will also feature updates on efforts to expand public EV charging in three island towns. In addition to neighbors excited to share their EV journeys, the Expo will also give attendees the chance to hear from invited local plug-in and electric car and bike dealers to help you learn about new EV offerings, costs, incentives, rebates, and how to purchase. Beyond traditional EVs, hear from a new zero-emission rental service in town allowing you to explore the area in the very near future, and tour the island's Electric School Bus!
Would you like to show your vehicle? Have questions about the event? Email brianna@aclimatetothrive.org!
