Event Report

Steve Grieve gave a presentation with specific experiences of owning a plug in EV.  The talk included a brief history of EV's, the key components, batteries and charging and road trips in an EV.  Steve had his EV charging at the level 2 charger in the parking lot and projected the charging progress.

Event Description

More and more electric cars are showing up on local roads. What is it like to own one? Is a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) right for me? Where do I charge? How long does it take to charge? How far can I go? It seems like a new BEV is announced every week, how do I know which one fits my needs? So many questions. Join us at the Library during National Drive Electric Week and get some answers.
