Event Report
This year was our first-ever NDEW in partnership with our local government. Clark County Department of Environment and Sustainability (aka All-In Clark County) led the way to secure a large space at the Clark County Decatur Campus, along with an official NDEW 2023 proclamation for Clark County. The county also coordinated media activities, including morning show segments on two local news channels before the event.The event itself involved more vendors and auto dealers than any previous event in Las Vegas. Brands included Kia, Rivian, Volkswagen, Subaru, Trek Bikes, and Audi for live ride & drives, with additional models in a static display in the main lot. Other local nonprofits included the Sierra Club, Nevada Conservation League, Climate Action Nevada, and CHISPA.
The display models set a new record for variety, with at least 30 different models on site. These included Tesla, Ford, Kia, Volvo, Nissan, GM, Lucid, Jeep, Subaru, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Volkswagen, BMW, and even an electric cargo truck from Navistar.
The day's events included an official opening from Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft, presentations from All-In Clark County team, as well as two presentations from the Nevada EVA: EV 101, and IRS tax incentives for EVs.
Our initial registrations for the event topped well over 400. Unfortunately, the windy weather put a damper on attendance from both visitors and exhibitors. Still, we managed around 72 ride & drives with 300 attendees. We met a lot of new faces at this event, and we expect it to grow as we being preparations for DEED in April.

Event Description
Join us on September 30 for a nationwide celebration to raise awareness of the many benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid cars, trucks, motorcycles, e-bikes, and more! See and test drive the latest models, speak to dealers and drivers and discover the great electric driving experience.
The Nevada Electric Vehicle Association, in partnership with Plug In America, the Sierra Club, and EVHYBRIDNOIRE, is hosting this year's National Drive Electric Week event on Saturday, September 30, from noon to 4pm at the Clark County Building Department, 4701 W Russell Road in Las Vegas.
Sponsored nationally by Nissan USA and Wells Fargo, NDEW is a chance to see the newest electrified vehicles up close, answer questions from EV owners, and test drive vehicles directly from the major manufacturers.
