Event Report

This event was the first, large‐scale Ride & Drive held by the new, still‐in‐formation DET chapter Drive Electric Greater Clarksville (DEGC.) Local power company CDE Lightband (the municipal LPC for Clarksville) was the host and main organizer of the event; chapter Co‐chair JoAnn McIntosh helped bring in EVs and handled some other event tasks. It was an excellent event even though we had to implement Venue Plan B due to inclement weather. Great impact on folks from the area coming to learn about EVs, and thanks to a wonderful collection of EV owners who came to relate their own experiences as EV drivers, and show or allow others to see/ride/drive their cars.

Greater Clarksville Electric Ride-and-Drive

May 11, 3-7 pm CT

CDE Lightband, Wilma Rudolph Blvd

Join us on May 11 for the Greater Clarksville Electric Ride-and-Drive event, sponsored by Drive Electric Greater Clarksville and Clarksville's CDE Lightband. Electric vehicles from various manufacturers will be available to inspect and test drive. We will have the latest information on vehicle availability, tax credits, charging infrastructure -- and most importantly -- EV owners will be there to share their first-hand experiences with driving and owning an EV in the greater Clarksville area. Come join us to learn and experience EVs, and bring your questions!

All participants who bring vehicles assume liability for their vehicles while onsite.
