DURHAM DAY ACTIVITIES, Moved to JUNE 3rd – Don’t miss it!

Durham is combining its 2023 Earth Day commemoration event with our annual Durham Day celebration, held from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 3rd at the 66 Main Street parking lot. We’re looking forward to an event that will be a fun, informative time for everyone. Here are a few details of what’s in store:

 This event will include:

• A showcase of over 15 EVs by local owners, including some of the latest models.
• Local Auto Dealers will have some EVs for display and possibly offering test drives.
• Information regarding Community Power Aggregation 
• Information on home energy improvements and rebates
• Information promoting composting as a means to reduce methane gas, reduce landfill waste, and help your gardens.
• Displays supporting sustainable agriculture.

This year's site at 66 Main Street offers more grassy areas for tables and displays, and parking spaces visible from Main Street for display of EVs. There is also a fence facing Main Street suitable for banners, or logos of participating car dealers:
