Event Report
The Audi e-tron stood out as the most exotic.The most exciting was the VW ID-4, which we had available for test drives. The other test-drive car was a Bolt EUV.
Finally, we had several dozen "test rides" on e-bikes brought in a large trailer by Amped Rides.
Testing vehicles out was by far the biggest draw, and our local dealers were up to the task. A big shot out to Mclean Chevrolet, Comox Valley VW, and Amped Rides!
Finally, a big thanks to all who participated in the pre-event EV parade, and those who gave up their day to display their EVs in all their glory.

Event Description
It’s National Drive Electric Week with hundreds of events across North America promoting electric vehicles. We will again hold our signature “Move2Electric” show ‘n shine on Sunday, October 2 at Simms Park.
We will have dealers of EV cars and e-bikes provide test drives to the public and volunteers from CVEVA will display their amazing collection of electric cars, e-scooters, and e-bikes. Presentations and discussions about the revolution of electric vehicles will be held at the Rotary Pavilion. We might also have a food cart to help feed the crowd.
The event will start with an EV parade from Cumberland at 9:30 for those who would like to join us, and festivities at Simms Park will run from 10:00 until 2:00.
