Event Report

The NJ Board of Public Utilities, in partnership with the NJ Department of Environmental Protection, hosted an Electric Vehicle Ride & Drive during the NJ Clean Energy Conference at Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Participants had the opportunity to test drive one or more plug-in electric vehicles, browse through EVs on display from local owners and DEP staff, and chat with DEP’s EV team.

EVs available for test drives included:
  • Ford F-150 Lightning from Chapman Auto
  • Ford E-Transit from Chapman Auto
  • Toyota RAV4 Prime from Toyota Motor North America
  • Tesla Model S from Tesla's Cherry Hill Gallery
  • Tesla Model Y from Tesla's Cherry Hill Gallery
  • Hyundai Ionic from Causeway Auto
EVs on display included:
  • Chevrolet Bolt
  • Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid
  • Volkswagen ID.4
  • Mini Hardtop Cooper SE
  • All-Electric School Bus from BYD Motors

Registration Fees

Early Registration Fee: $175 per person (expires Sept. 5, 2022)
Registration Fee: $200 per person (Sept. 6 to Sept. 28, 2022)

Public / Non-Profit Employee Discount Fee: $100 per person
Student Discount Fee: $75 per person (must bring student ID)

Onsite Registration Fee: $250 per person (walk-in)

*Online registration will close at midnight on September 28, 2022. After that time, only walk-in registrations at the conference will be accepted.
