This Friday, September 30, Randolph EMC and the North Carolina Zoo had scheduled a Drive Electric event to introduce the public to electric vehicles and educate members about REMC’s special time-of-use rate for home charging.
Because of anticipated adverse weather conditions from Hurricane Ian, Randolph EMC and the North Carolina Zoo regrettably must cancel this open-air event.
We appreciate your interest in this event, and forward to an outstanding Drive Electric event next year in September 2023.

Join Randolph EMC at the NC Zoo for National Drive Electric Week!
Experience different electric vehicle (EV) models and charging options on-site at the NC Zoo. We’ll have informational material from the Triad EV Association about the benefits of EVs and knowledgeable EV owners and energy advisors available to share their insights.
