Event Report
Tesla and VW gave test drives (tesla was the big highlight) and we had about 15 owners that stuck around to chat and answer questions from the public. Though we were in the parking lot of a big mall (and had signs posted inside the mall) we didn't get as much traffic as hoped. Looking to improve on that for next year.

Meet & Chat with other local EV drivers! Take an Electric test drive! See the amazing Tesla Model S, Nissan Leaf and many other fast electric cars (including the brand new VW E-Golf!) Lots of free giveaways too!
Our 2nd annual Hudson Valley Drive Electric event will be held THIS Sunday, September 20th, 2015 from Noon - 5pm. If you can only be there a limited amount of time please show up between 1pm-2pm so we can maximize the number of EVs during that time period. (We also want to take a group photo at 2pm).
This year we're changing the location to the Poughkeepsie Galleria, which should allow us to host more dealers and have more parking available. The location is right by Dick's sporting goods, right above the Target parking lot (map below).
Please register for the event, but just as importantly join our Facebook group! Click the link below, then 'Join'. It's a nice forum to discuss local EV issues with fellow enthusiasts and drivers.
