Event Report

The Drive Electric Earth Day event in Highland Park was part of an Earth Day Fest organized by Sustainable Highland Park. This in turn coincided with Spring Street Fair, which dramatically increased number of visitors.
We parked Hyundai Ioniq 5 right in the intersection of the Street Fair and Earth Day Fest, while the rest of the vehicles and our table were in a satellite area 200 ft down the street. Other vehicles were BMW i3 Rex, Ford Mustang Mach-e, Chevrolet Bolt EV, Tesla Model 3, Hyundai Kona EV, Kia e-Niro and Honda Clarity PHEV.
We have had lots of visitors, distributed tons of Plugstar.com fliers, Plugin America and Electric Vehicle Association cards, Aptera t-shirts and more. We have added 15 new contacts to the EVA list. Many visitors expressed their interest to buy EV as their next vehicle.
Among VIPs were Sustainable Highland Park chair Tina Weishaus and city Mayor Gayle Brill Mittler.
