Event Report
The 2022 Juneau EV & Ebike Roundup was our 9th annual event and this year included Ebikes and Electric outboard motors. Juneau continues to grow as a leading EV community. The Juneau Electric Vehicle Association provided NDEW, Plug in America and 2023 EV Tax information. AEL&P, our local utility provided home electric charger information, the City and Borough of Juneau provided electric bus and public charger information, and Renewable Juneau provided heat pump and charger information. Other vendors Cycle Alaska and the Juneau Bike Doctor provided Ebike offerings and test rides and Tongass Rain provided a display and viewing of electric outboard motors.
The event was attended by Sen. Jesse Kiehl, Assembly Member Wade Bryson and Congressional Candidate, Nick Begich who all spoke on the importance of electric vehicles in our community and and our community and nation's future. A CBJ proclamation was read commemorating the City of Juneau's participation in National Drive Electric Week.
Our Local IBEW 1547 cooked and served cheeseburgers and hot dogs provided by our local sponsors of Juneau Hydropower, Tongass Rain, Affordable Auto Sales, and Mendenhall Auto.

Event Description
9th Annual Juneau NDEW Event. An absolute great opportunity to come look at Juneau's EV's, learn about EV's and get the latest information on EV's, local charging stations, and an update on CBJ's electric bus program. A great event to share information on your EV and provide information to those looking and interested in learning more about EV's in their future.
An update will also be provided on the ongoing effort to have Nissan Leaf Service and Support for Juneau's Nissan Leaf Fleet.
Burgers and drinks served at Noon. At the end of the Event at 1PM we will have a short EV Rally through downtown Juneau and Douglas to show our Juneau EV support.
