Event Report
This was an event held in conjunction with a popular weekly Cars & Coffee. On the day of the NDEW event, over 250 cars attended including the 11 electric vehicles. The event went very well. Here is a list of the electric vehicles who came: 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium RWD with Extended Range Battery, 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium AWD with Extended Range Battery, Tesla Model 3 Performance, Tesla Model X Performance, BMW i3, 2020 Silver Kia Niro EV Limited, 2019 Hyundai Kona EV, Toyota Prius Prime (2), Mini Cooper SE and Black Fiat e500.
Owners were great talking with anyone who had questions or wanted to look over and in their vehicles. While no drives were offered due to NDEW policy, lots of people got to see these cars close up (many for the first time) and learn about EV ownership. I know many came away with a much better view of electric vehicles. A lot of myths of electric vehicles were debunked.
Considering this was an event which was planned in less than a month, I was very happy with the turnout of electric vehicles and the reception they received considering the Cars and Coffee crowd is into classic, hot rods and sports cars.
The printed materials from NDEW were very popular especially the one showing the current electric vehicles available for purchase and lease.
Event Description
Showing our Electric Vehicles with the hot rods, muscle cars, sports cars and timeless classics at the weekly Rt. 31 Cars & Coffee in the Wegmans parking lot in Clay, New York on Saturday, September 18, from 7am to 12pm. We will have a coned off area just for us.
Would like to get a variety of electric vehicles but all are welcome! If you are coming or might come, register via the "Participate" button and tell us what you will be driving.
It starts early but parking spaces will be held open until 8am. Wegmans has coffee, donuts, breakfast pizzas and lots of other yummy delights.
