Event Report

With wonderful weather on Sunday Sep. 26th our host Duke Farms and their Duke Farms Market drew about 1250 attendees to the combined Farms Market and adjacent NDEW EV show.  Most attendees checked out one or more of these as first stop:  Central Jersey Electric Auto Assn (CJEAA) tent/table, sponsor RideWise table, local sponsor PSE&G EV Team tent and/or the cool Zero Motorcycle being shown by its owner at the entry/exit area.  From there most walked Farm Barn Lane to view our EV lineup including 18 EVs for most of the 4 hour event while attendee EVs charged in prime parking spots nearby. The Farms Market used their electric cart to transport their staff, which is also utilized for those who need assistance.

Duke Farms history includes developing some of the earliest major electricity production in central NJ initially to provide for its own needs, later shared with others.  What a fitting and lovely place to grow the EV love and share that with others!

Event Description

Electric Vehicle Show at Duke Farms Market
1112 Dukes Pkwy West, Hillsborough NJ

Sun. Sep. 26 10 AM - 2 PM EDT

RAIN DATE: Sun. Oct 3 10 AM - 2 PM EDT

Central Jersey Electric Auto Association (CJEAA) Electric Vehicle (EV) owners welcome folks to stop by and see many EV models, including all-electrics and Plug-In Hybrid EVs. Owners will share their experiences one-on-one, including why they love driving electric, info on their model, and more as they help to answer EV questions.

There are no dealers and no test drives at this event, just many EV models to compare and owners willing to share EV insights.  RideWise and PSE&G Electric Vehicle Team are sponsoring the EV show with lots of EV info to share at their tables.

All attendees and staff will be required to wear masks when within 6 feet of another person.  Social distancing is planned along with sanitizer stations.

Please join us at the 9/26 EV Show and RSVP here - registration is optional.

To offer to show your EV please click the Participate button and check for a confirmation (Vehicles may be limited in order to show a variety of EV makes/models.)

We hope to see you at Duke Farms Market EV Show for some topics of interest, such as:
- Annual savings with low EV operating costs
- Responsive, torqued performance of EV acceleration
- Why most EV owners won't go back to non-EV's
- How EVs will help transition to a healthier planet for all, for now and for future generations

Don't miss Duke Farms Market for quality, nutritious food that promotes small family farming while helping protect valuable agricultural lands.

We ask that all attendees and staff please self-assess for COVID-19 symptoms prior to attending in-person National Drive Electric Week shows. If any symptoms (cough, fever, short of breath, headaches, lack/loss of taste/smell - see CDC for more) or any doubt or quarantine, please consider virtual events or later EV shows when healthy and safe to join in-person EV shows/events.

CJEAA is grateful to all attendees and volunteers, to Duke Farms and their Farm Market for hosting the show, to RideWise for their help as a sponsor, to PSE&G EV Team for sponsoring, and to Raritan Valley Community College for promoting this show along with #NDEW2021 National Organizers & Sponsors - Thank You!
