Event Report
The Southeast Florida Clean Cities Coalition would like to thank all of the sponsors that made Drive Electric Week a success! We would also like to thank our local sponsors the Broward County Transportation Department, ChargePoint, Brickell Energy, and ProSolar. The event featured 25 different vehicles and an EV transit bus. We had about 30 people walk-up to the tent and ask questions regarding charging infrastructure in our region. The biggest hit was the Polestar 2 and EV Jeep. A special thanks to all of our EV enthusiasts who really stepped up and provided the wide array of vehicles. With your help, we are able to push Florida in the right direction of sustainability. See you all next year!
photo by: The Southeast Florida Clean Cities Coalition hosted and the photographer is Pete Schecter I chose the photo of the Broward County EV Transit Bus. It was a huge hit at the car show and people loved being able to jump on and see what the county is offering. This is the first EV bus in South Florida and shows the commitment of moving towards electrification. |
