Virtual Test Drive
Event ReportOn September 30th, Project Clean Air (PCA) hosted a virtual ride & drive event from 2PM-3PM. This event, hosted and moderated by PCA Coordinator, Robert Garnsey, highlighted the accessibility of EVs to a curious audience. Through three ride & drive videos, many EV topics were discussed which included how EVs drive, EV owner experiences, and public charging. In addition to the three virtual ride & drives that were shown, the webinar also featured three speakers who discussed several EV incentives available to EV buyers. Speaking to the audience on this subject was Dante Sanson from the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, Aaron Dyer from Southern California Edison, and LaTisha Harris from the Center for Sustainable Energy. The webinar concluded with a Q&A portion that allowed attendees to address questions towards the speakers and PCA staff.
