Event Report
Event Description
Still kicking the tires about electric vehicles? Or maybe you already own one. Save the date and come to the North Country EV Show & Tell Event in Duluth!
Several types of electric vehicles (EVs) will be available to the public for viewing during an electric cooperative sponsored event on September 30, 2021. We'll connect those interested in EVs to those who have already made the leap to purchase an EV.
A discussion panel of EV owners and EV charging experts will kick off the event at 5:00 p.m. in the North Shore Room of Canal Park Lodge in Duluth. They’ll share their experience owning an EV, information about today’s charging technologies, and charging programs available through their local electric provider – while also taking questions from the audience.
Then from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., we'll view the EVs on display in the nearby charging lot where you can sit inside a vehicle and talk with the owner about their experiences owning and driving an electric vehicle.
Light appetizers will be available. Free Love Creamery ice cream too, sponsored by the electric cooperatives! This will be a fun, family-friendly event for everyone.
Representatives
from Arrowhead Electric Cooperative, Cooperative Light & Power, East
Central Energy, Lake Country Power, Great River Energy, Minnesota Power, Shift2Electric, and several EV owners, will be on hand.
