Event Report

Overall we have a very short time to prepare for this event, less than three weeks. Despite that I’m pleased how it unfolded and the effort people put into it making it a success. We were able to arrange for presentations from:
  • Rendall Farley, Manager of Electric Transportation who spoke about Avista's plans to expand regional infrastructure through installation of DCFC and providing incentives for home and workplace charger installations.
  • Karl Otterstrom, Director of Planning and Development at Spokane Transit Authority who presented STA's plans for electrifying their fleet and their recent installation of charging infrastructure as several park and ride locations.
A key lesson I learned is the opportunity we have missed out for years combining the arts like music with events like this. Covid-19 or not I’ll do this again especially seeing the increased participation by non-EV drivers, that is what we need to move to a true Electrifying America  Here is the video we ran on the Zoom, FB posts and more post in our group.

Text Feedback:

Jerad Park “Nice work Jorgen, Great event.”
