Event Report

What are experts doing to make sure Rhode Island is on track to meet its climate goals and accelerate the transition to EVs? This panel discussion explored how the Ocean State is preparing for EV adoption, how transportation electrification intersects with other state priorities, like equity and health, and the most important policies and programs to get more EVs on the road.

Mal Skowron of Green Energy Consumers Alliance moderated the panel, which included Carrie Gill, Ph.D., of the RI Office of Energy Resources; Hank Webster of the Acadia Center; Allison Archambault of the RI Department of Environmental Management; and Julia Gold of National Grid.
