Event Report

Mal Skowron of Green Energy Consumers Alliance hosted an "Electric Vehicles 101" webinar to kick off National Drive Electric Week 2020. In the online event, we discussed everything that someone might need to know to begin considering an electric car, including environmental and public health benefits, cost of ownership, charging, maintenance, and purchase incentives. This event is perfect for anyone that doesn't know a thing about EVs, but wants to learn.

Green Energy Consumers Alliance is a nonprofit organization based in Providence, RI and Boston, MA with the mission to speed the transition to a low-carbon future. Drive Green is a program of Green Energy Consumers that makes it easier for people to learn about electric cars and find good prices on them locally. Learn more about Drive Green here.

Here's Mal Skowron, the host of the "Electric Vehicles 101" webinar, at an in-person EV event from 2019. Although we moved National Drive Electric Week events online this year, Mal was as excited as ever to talk about EVs.

Event Description

Curious about getting an electric car, but not sure where to start? Join us for our popular Electric Vehicles 101 webinar to learn the basics. We'll cover environmental benefits, cost savings, charging, and purchase incentives.

We'll also talk about Drive Green, a regional EV discount program based in Massachusetts and Rhode Island that makes it easier to find the right EV at the right price. Drive Green has helped over 800 drivers go electric since 2016 and created a regional network of EV ambassadors. We're excited to host NDEW events entirely online this year!
