Event Report

Electricarpalooza V2 had offered two ways for people to learn about electric vehicles — during an online Q&A and an EV display at the Dorey Park Farmers Market. The former took place as a livestream to our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=655528128435386) rather than as a Zoom meeting since all event registrants preferred to attend the event in person. We connected with 35 people at the farmers market, as well as debuted an updated version of our EV Experience educational exhibits.

Eight electric vehicles were on display at Richmond, VA’s seventh annual celebration of National Drive Electric Week, including all four current models sold by Tesla — the S, X, 3 and Y.

Event Description

Learn more about electric vehicles by talking to EV owners in-person and online at Electricarpalooza V2, sponsored by Drive Electric RVA and the Dorey Park Farmers Market. We will have a small display of cars, spaced apart to provide plenty of room to look around while socially distancing. Owners will be wearing masks while they share their experiences. In addition, we’ll debut an updated version of our EV Experience educational display.

For those who don’t feel comfortable attending in person, we will livestream from the event to our Facebook page from 10 to 11 AM. (NOTE: This is a change to the online portion of the event. The Zoom meeting with breakout rooms will not take place.)
