Event Report

Event Highlights:

We hosted 2 live events, and two virtual events.  Our two live events included a lively discussion with women EV drivers and their experiences with electric vehicles, and an owners forum where we could answer questions about a variety of topics, including tax incentives, driving dynamics, how long EVs could last, and even some commentary on seat comfort.

Our two pre-recorded events included a presentation from Tony Seba, the author of “Clean Disruption of Energy and Transportation”, “Solar Trillions” and “Winners Take All”, a serial Silicon Valley entrepreneur, and an instructor in Entrepreneurship, Disruption and Clean Energy at Stanford’s Continuing Studies Program. His session was about the Future of Transportation in North Carolina and the inevitability of electric vehicles.  We also recorded a conversation with our resident automotive engineer, Dave Erb.  Links for all are below.

We would like to thank our sponsors, the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, and the Land of Sky Regional Council's Clean Vehicle Coalition.

We also would like to thank Dave Erb for sharing his expertise, Sarah Nichols for hosting the Women's panel, our panelists Laura Plonsky, Beth Erb, Heidi Domeisen, Brandy Lemieux, and Jim Hardy.  Special thanks also to Paul Lemieux, Joe Baum, Bill Eaker and Jennifer Rennicks for their help in marketing, and a special thanks to those who attended.   Our videos are below, and welcome you to share them with those who might be interested!
