General Motors and Tesla did not Invent the Electric Car!
The Detroit Electric Car Company sold 13,000 electric cars from 1907 to 1939. Celebrate “National Drive Electric Week” and learn about the Detroit Electric car and GM’s first mass produced 
and purpose-designed electric vehicle of the modern era, the EV1; both on exhibit at the Virginia Museum of Transportation. (www.vmt.org)
