Event Report
Xcel Energy hosted three days of electric vehicle test drives for our employees and customers. Five local auto dealers—Boulder Nissan, Tyan's Nissan, Jaguar Land Rover Flatirons, Autonation Chevrolet North and Audi Denver—partnered with us to provide a variety of EV models for display and test drives, and representatives to answer questions. During the three days, 70 people got behind the wheel of an EV on a test drive at our Xcel Energy headquarters in downtown Denver or at the Pepsi Center, which graciously offered up a parking lot for the event. We also worked with Boulder Nissan, Tyan's Nissan, Jaguar Land Rover Flatirons, Autonation Chevrolet North, Audi Denver, Ed Bozarth Chevrolet and Stevinson Imports to offer an EV ride & drive sweepstakes. The sweepstakes encourages local customers to test drive an EV at a dealership through October for a chance to win a $250 gift card.

When: Tuesday, 9/17 & Wednesday, 9/18 from 10:00am to 2:00pm
We partnered with local auto dealerships to offer a range of different models like Chevy Bolt, Nissan Leaf, Jaguar I-PACE and Audi e-tron.
