Event Report
The Plug-In NCW committee hosted a National Drive Electric Week (NDEW) event at Pybus Public Market in Wenatchee, Sept 18th, from 5 to 7 pm. PlugIn America coordinates NDEW events across the country each year.
Pybus Public Market provided 12 parking spaces for EVs to be displayed. Local radio and print media published public service announcements to publicize the event.
16 EVs, representing 6 different models, were exhibited by their owners. The owners offered information and rides to the public. About 50 people attended.
The number of EVs and attendees was a noticeable increase over similar events in the past.
Keep an eye out for other events in the spring to see, and learn more about, the increasing number of EV models available!
