Day: | Saturday, September 14, 2019 NOTE: this event has already happened, find current-year events on the Attend page. |
Time: | 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM |
Location: | Chatham Borough Train Station - South Parking Lot 42 Fairmount Ave Chatham, NJ 07928 |
An opportunity to learn all about Electric Cars in one place. Talk to owners about how much fun they are to drive, how little they cost to run, why we all have a big grin on our faces when we drive them, and all the ways they've improved our lives ... like always leaving home with a full "tank" of fuel!
If you're an owner; join in, we'd love to have you there! Park with us, share your experiences with fellow owners, and help educate and influence a new crop of future EV owners and enthusiasts. Come whenever you want and stay as long as you want. The more the merrier!
The event is in conjunction with the annual Chatham Sustainability Fair and in the same parking lot as the weekly Chatham Farmer's Market. So there are plenty of other things to see and do even after the event or if you want a break from standing around your car.
Parking will likely be on the west side of the south parking lot, just look for the blue Nissan LEAF, the black Tesla Model S, or the red Tesla Model 3. You can enter the south parking lot at the train station from the east side on Fairmount Avenue, or on the west side via Front Street (turn onto Washington Street from Main Street and make your first left after going under the train tracks).
Our event is brought to you by the Chatham Borough Environmental Commission and the Chatham Borough Green Team.
