Event Description
The Main EVent in the Houston area but not the only EVent.
There will be EV's at this location all week long culminating with an EV get together on Saturday September 20 from 9 am until 1 pm.
One of many events to be held in Houston TX during National Drive Electric Week 2014 where EV owners participate with an informational campaign about all things EV to include EV charging infrastructure.
EV owners and dealers station themselves at a public charging location of their choice with informational material and signage during the time of their choosing and engage the public as people come up to ask questions. Rides or drives can be given by the EV owner or dealer at their choosing.
There are 17 EVgo freedom stations and over 150 other public charging stations in the greater Houston area that will be the site locations. Volunteer EV owners just have to pick a location and a time, register on the website, report on how many contacts are made and try to encourage those contacted to let us know if they purchase an EV.
