Event Report
The event was held at
the Inland Center Mall in San Bernardino, California on September 22nd,
2019. It was also the launch of the new Inland Empire Electric Vehicle
Association club. Electric Auto Association President, Raejean Fellows, helped us
get the event off to a great start. We had our inaugural meeting at noon at the
event. We had a raffle with a charger donated by the City of Colton Electric
Utility being the biggest prize. We had a couple of other big prizes from the car
detail vendor. We had about 50 people sign in at the event, but attendance was
estimated at around 100 visitors. The location encouraged walk up visitors. We
had a large Tesla presence, as Tesla Clubs were in attendance. We had a couple
of Nissans, a Kona, a plug-in Mercedes-Benz and other EV’s that dropped by. Our
only test drives were with Tesla. They and the mall arranged a contract to
offer test drives for a week, 3 days before the event and 3 days after. They
had a presence at the center of the mall. They had at least one sale in the
days leading up to the event. The mall has a Supercharger installation and an
EVgo installation. Jaguar also had a couple of I-Pace cars on display. Attendees
enjoyed themselves getting information from all the EV owners and vendors in
attendance.

Event Description
Join us on Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 10am to 2pm at the Inland Center Mall in San Bernardino for the Inland Empire National Drive Electric Week event. This is our first year at this new location.
