Event Report
Electric Avenue at the Downtown Grand Junction Car Show was a great success! This event coincided with the Downtown Grand Junction Car Show, which brings in several thousand people. The organizers of the car show allotted a half-block for electric vehicles, which is dubbed"Electric Avenue".There were 9 EVs and plug-in hybrids on display and their owners were on site to answer questions and talk about driving electrically with approximately 500 attendees. The attendees were very curious about range, charging time, maintenance, and costs associated with electric vehicles, much more so than the same event last year.
Thank you to all the EV owners who paid to participate in this car show, and for taking the better part of a Saturday to help the public gain a better understanding of the benefits of EVs. Thank you also to all the people who stopped by to chat!

Electric Avenue at the Downtown Grand Junction Car Show
Electric Vehicle owners from across the Grand Valley and beyond will make Main Street hum quietly with the sound of fast, long-range, cost-effective, and technologically advanced electric vehicles! For the Second Annual Electric Avenue, we are again working with Downtown Grand Junction to have a section of the Downtown Grand Junction Car Show set aside for a group of electric vehicles (aka "Electric Avenue").
This your opportunity to see a showcase of electric vehicles, and ask their owners all about them!
