Event Report
We have had an event at Sullivan University ever since we first started having DEW events. Every year it grows. This year it grew substantially, resulting in a record-breaking (for Kentucky) 60 plus EVs in the parking lot! Also new for this year was a live band, food truck, frozen treat vendor, electric bus ride and face painting. All of this to both draw a bigger crowd and make it more of a stand-alone family-friendly event. We also boosted our FaceBook post. The weather was great and folks had a great time. Many stayed for the after event raffle and film.Event Description
This will be our 5th annual EV ride and drive at Sullivan. Last year we (most likely) set a record for the most electric vehicles in one spot in the state of Kentucky (over 50). This year, we are planning on leaving that record in the dust!
We will have a wide variety of electric vehicles on display and rides will be encouraged. Solar installers will also be on hand with information. There will also be a food truck, Steel City Pops, live music (trio), face painting and a raffle (high-end electric lawnmower)! Fun and surprises for the whole family! Those that sign up early enough and bring their EV will also get an embroidered Evolve KY polo shirt (but it must be early as it takes time for production and shipping).
