Event Report
The City of Cape Canaveral was proud to have hosted its first-ever National Drive Electric Week event at the beautiful Manatee Sanctuary Park overlooking the Banana River Lagoon. The City is very supportive of electric vehicles and firmly believes they represent the future of transportation. To date, the City of Cape Canaveral has installed twelve Level-2 ClipperCreek charging ports across six charging stations at various City facilities and parks, the most of any municipality in Brevard County.

Event Description
In keeping with the tenets of the Cape Canaveral Vision Statement and in an effort to set an example for coastal municipalities in Florida and across the nation, the City of Cape Canaveral is routinely taking action to be more sustainable and ecologically friendly. The City is committed to delivering policies that are effective, sustainable and resilient. Electric vehicle adoption, promotion and education is a part of this leadership effort.

This event is completely free to the public and there will even be test drives available.
