Event Report
National Drive Electric Week, September 14-22, 2019, is an international celebration to heighten awareness of today’s widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more. This year, Saskatchewan has events in Regina, Davidson, North Battleford, Prince Albert and Saskatoon! EV's are fun to drive, are less expensive and more convenient to fuel than gasoline vehicles, are better for the environment, promote local jobs, and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Thanks to all the hard work of SEVA volunteers/EV owners, we added some new members to the Saskatchewan EV community!

Event Description
The Saskatchewan Electric Vehicle Association is proud to present the 5th annual National Drive Electric Week in Regina! We are very excited to announce that SaskPower and SkyFire Energy will be sponsoring the event this year.
Are you interested in an EV? Want a test ride to see the incredible driving experience of an electric drivetrain? Talk to a local owner about their experience driving electric!
We are expecting 15-20 electric vehicles from dealerships and local owners, ready to take your questions! Do you own an EV? Why not register your car to participate! Anyone is welcome!
Schedule:
11:00 am: Vendors and EV owners arrive to begin setup
12:00 pm: Event officially begins. Test rides start.
1:00 pm: Brief presentations and speeches
1:30 pm: Group picture
2:00 pm: Test rides continue for the duration of afternoon
6:00 pm: All guests and EV owners are invited to attend a casual supper. Location TBA
