Event Description
The Marin National Drive Electric Week celebration is being presented by Golden Gate Electric Vehicle Association at the Marin Civic Center parking lot adjacent to the Farmers Market. The primary sponsor is the Transportation Authority of Marin with additional sponsorship from PG&E, Marin Clean Energy, ClipperCreek, and NRG eVgo.
Bring your EV and encourage your friends and neighbors to come for the test drives.
Learn firsthand why electric cars are so much fun to drive. See how much money you can save by driving electric. And learn how switching to EVs reduces greenhouse gases and air pollution and eliminates the incentive for fracking.
Test drive the Nissan LEAF, Mercedes-Benz B-Class electric, BMW i3, and many other electric cars, as well as Brammo and Zero electric motorcycles. Information on charging stations, solar charging of EVs, and EV car sharing will be available. The celebration will include food, fun, and prizes.
Students can win a charging station for their school!
