National Drive Electric Week
Sep 22, 2019
|Day:||Sunday, September 22, 2019 NOTE: this event has already happened, find current-year events on the Attend page.|
|Time:||Noon to 3:00 PM|
|Location:||HyVee Parking Lot
5020 N 27th Street
Lincoln, NE 68521
Event ReportThe event was at the south end of the parking lot of a Hy-Vee grocery store and next to a Tesla Supercharger station so visitors could view one firsthand. Tesla 3 s were the majority but most visitors were interested in the EV Drivers' experience with EVs than their specific model. One owner was able to display his little red Tesla Roadster in the Hy-Vee Grocery Store for a week before the event. Hy-Vee placed a hot dog and hamburger stand next to the EV display so drivers were able to get a full meal during their exhibit. This was very popular.
All attendees and volunteers are required to wear face masks whenever they are within six feet of another person at all National Drive Electric Week 2022 events. Please see this information about how to improve how your mask protects you. For more information, see our in-person event safety requirements.
Come and see a dozen electric cars. Talk to EV owners. Learn about charging stations and other related issues. View level 3 - high speed DC chargers in action at the Lincoln Hy-Vee Store # 3 Tesla Charging Station. Register to work with the local Lincoln group of the Nebraska EV Campaign Team.
