Event Report
This was a new venue this year as we plan to alternate between Portland and South Portland, Maine. Two independent cities but tied very closely to clean energy and sustainability efforts. The venue this year allowed greater access for more people to attend, more dealers and a beautiful view of the ocean. We also had a local bicycle shop with various e-bikes to demo and allow for test rides. One electric scooter was on hand and that was a hit as well. We offer free pizza, hot and cold coffee, iced tea and water. Many EV drivers were excited to attend this new venue. We also had one person who drove from Colorado in her Tesla Model 3 and another drive from CA in her leaf. They shared their experiences traveling cross country. Another highlight was information provided during some brief updates as to where the State of Maine is with EV infrastructure and renewal energy progress.
