Drive Electric Day-San Antonio 2018 was organized by the Alamo Area Clean Cities Coalition and was held at the Pearl Farmers Market in downtown San Antonio. About 300 attendees braved the drizzle to talk with enthusiastic and knowledgeable EV owners, view six different showcased EVs and ten ride-along EVs, and visit booths from the Alamo Area Clean Cities Coalition, the City of San Antonio's Office of Sustainability, and CPS Energy, the municipal energy utility company. The CEO of CPS Energy also attended and promoted the event on Twitter. Additionally, National Drive Electric Week 2018 was recognized by official resolutions from the Alamo Area Council of Governments and the City of San Antonio.
All attendees and volunteers are required to wear face masks whenever they are within six feet of another person at all National Drive Electric Week 2022 events. Please see this information about how to improve how your mask protects you. For more information, see our in-person event safety requirements.
